UNICEF fundraiser 2019 – enabling children in Malawi
EPOS CAT employees, family and company friends raised money for children by participating at the Run for Unicef in Ingolstadt in May. It is the fifth time team EPOS run for this cause, enabling the young through Unicef's education project LIVING SCHOOLS where girls and boys in Malawi receive training with a future perspective.
Nearly 40 EPOS employees, family members and friends jogged, walked, cheered and celebrated on the running track Klenzepark. The team prepared in advance by joining EPOS personal coach Oliver Riess in in getting fit for the charity event and managed 621 laps in the end!
In total over 1078 runners participated (20 companies and individual runners) with 10,491 rounds and a record sales revenue of € 32,000! The proceeds from this year’s charity run will benefit the Unicef education project LIVING SCHOOLS. Girls and boys in Malawi receive education with a future perspective with environmental protection on the timetable.
