Q1-2015 - Growth and improved profitability

- Data Respons started 2015 with a strong first quarter including growth, improved profitability and a high order intake, says Kenneth Ragnvaldsen, CEO of Data Respons ASA.

Operating revenue for the first quarter was NOK 241 million (225). EBITDA was NOK 15.3 million (13.4) and EBIT amounted to NOK 14.5 million (12.6). Operating cash flow was NOK 1.6 million (-1.5). Order intake for the period was NOK 262 million (200). The group's order backlog at the end of the quarter was NOK 744 million (601).

Bigger in Sweden than in Norway
- We have had a strong focus on developing our business outside of Norway in the recent years. A great inspiration for us has been to sign bigger and more significant foreign customers, leading to international growth. We are currently larger in Sweden than we are in Norway, and we enjoy a positive development in Germany which is the largest single market area in Europe. The good development in international markets counteracts the somewhat more challenging oil related markets in Norway. On aggregate, the company shows both growth and a solid order intake in the first quarter, says Ragnvaldsen.

Improved profitability and NOK 1.00 dividends
- Data Respons has achieved a long-term trend of improved profitability by focusing on its core business, providing specialist services and solutions which add value to our customers. On this basis, the Board of Directors proposes to continue with a dividend of NOK 1.00 per share for 2014, offering one of the highest dividend yields at the Oslo Stock Exchange, says Ragnvaldsen.

Continued positive development
- In the first quarter the company enjoyed both revenue growth and improved profitability. Although the market conditions are still mixed, we see significant potential in most of our key markets. The positive development in international markets combined with a record high order backlog in the products & solutions segment provides a good basis for continued positive development in 2015, concludes Ragnvaldsen.
