Data Respons subsidiary MicroDoc re-elected for a seat in the Java Community Process Executive Committee
The Data Respons company, MicroDoc, was re-elected for a ratified seat in the Java Community Process Executive Committee.
– Java has a long and very successful history in all types of embedded systems, but the embedded space has a somewhat lower visibility in the community. In our second term as a JCP EC member MicroDoc will support IoT-domain specific Java Specification Requests (JSRs) in the standardisation process and foster the use of Java for embedded and IoT applications, says Hendrik Höfer, Managing Director, MicroDoc GmbH. We want to thank the Java Community for their votes and will be working hard to support Java’s success in the future, Höfer continues. Hendrik Höfer will continue to serve as the prime contact for their work in the JCP EC.
